Comment spam filtering

When you submit a comment on an article or a guestbook entry, it should appear immediately, with the tag Comment awaiting approval.

If your comment does not appear, it may have been wrongly identified as spam.

This site uses automatic spam filtering. Due to the large volume of spam received (~150 per day), I no longer have time to check comments manually. If a genuine comment is considered spam by the system, it will be deleted. If your comment does not appear, please let me know.

One exception is if you don’t have cookies enabled in your browser: you won’t see your comment straight away. If you are concerned, please check back the following day, or watch the comments through the RSS feed.

Would-be spammers please note: spam will never appear on this website, even if it evades the automated filtering. So please take your nonsense elsewhere (or preferably stop it altogether).
