By chance a site of interest indeed, I pounder statements that plant a seed. For sure this was an amusing read and yet also, it provide my need.

I was looking at the photos that you have put on your webbsite of the beamlines of the esrf. you dont know this but I used to work there at the esrf in grenoble I was a nobody there just an engineer working inthe main workshops. I loved every minute of it there, and I learned so much—Its a bit of a hobby with me now to study sub atomic particles. But its only armchair stuff. I left because I fell out with some people. Dont get me wrong there are many people I love there and sometimes I think a lot about them.Interestingly you say you do not drinkand hate to see English people drunk abroard . me too I thought I was alchoholic when I was there, but I found out later that I wasnt alchoholic, but was suffering from a deadly disease. I’m ok now its under control. needless to say I hate all booze. Any way nice to have shared a moment with you best wishes Mel Taylor.

Excellent site with some great (and grim) pictures of Leicester.
I think some of the proposed and approved developments in Leicester means the city is finally on the up after being in the doldrums for long. It would great if you could continue building your library pictures of the on-going regeneration of Leicester.
