I wanted to find out more about the Gregorian Calendar and asked the search engine LYCOS for the info., and they directed me to you.
I am interested in Family History and have traced one of my ancestors Richard Baxter back to north Bedfordshire. He was living when England adopted the Gregorian calendar and I thought it would make a good start to write about the family. I am also interested in the Puritan writer and clergyman Richard Baxter who was the vicar of Kidderminster around the time of Oliver Cromwell.
I thought your Web pages were really good. Being a mature student I was greatly impressed. I know hos to surf the internet and eventually hope to progress to the point of making my own Web page displaying my Family Tree. But that is still in the future.
Best wishes
Norma

I was searching the surname Rawle & saw your John Williams comment. Jaws is still my favourite soundtrack of all time.
Lord of the Rings is a long one! Have you seen the website for the upcoming movie? If not have a look!

Found your page on Google searching for info about this great county of ours <vbg>.
Nice to see I’m not the only person in the county who doesn’t like discos etc - can’t be the noise, as I *love* motorsport. Maybe I’m just strange like that.
Cycling, eh? There was a bike straining up Welch Gate in front of the 192 bus I was on the other day (during the fuel crisis) - wasn’t you I hope…

Hello Jonathan. It’s your Physics teacher from King Charles School. Mrs Deakins gave me your web site address. It’s good to see you are still enjoying learning about physics and have developed your interest in astronomy. The information about apostrophes was very interesting! I’m sure you remember that I never have got the hang of what to do with them.

Like the site, easy to navigate and pleasing on the eye, well done…all done in HTML using a Acorn machine? I still use mine for most activities except for internet/email use. I found it cheaper and less frustrating but use Netscape rather than IE5. Good luck and keep the RISCOS utilities coming!!

I’ve found you with Lycos. What can I say? You’re of my same age and you have been able to create such a work! I’m really surprised. I was looking for information about the porcelain tradition in Worcester, but I haven’t found anything! Is it possible? They should be proud of their tradition! (and what tradition!). I think I have to be satisfied with Derby and Stoke on Trent for my paper on English Potteries.
Congratulation for your cleverness! Cate

Enjoyed visiting the site. It is clear and very easy to navigate. Was particularly interested in the County maps - have downloaded all of them. However, in this comment box the position of the cursor (red line) bears no relation to where the type appears. Very confusing!
