Thanks for the pictures of the Severn Bridge! I’m writing a prioject on bridges for the year 7 pupils I teach at Sheldon School and I’m compiling web pages for our intranet for pupils to do their own research. You haven’t got any of the second severn crossing have you?

I read your entry in my guestbook, and even if I don’t have too much time these days, I was curious and came here.
You are right we have many things in common! I even heard about Kidderminster before even if I have never been “overseas”. Kidderminster is one of the teams always playing in the conference league in the football manager I use to play … Your page is very good, and it’s interesting to read!
Have a good time in Leicester!

Your site was recommended to our “list” of genealogy buffs whose interests are in Worcestershire. I enjoyed reading all about the counties in England. My gg grandparents were born in Dudley and raised eight children there. They were married at Oldswinford 9 June 1835. I have been trying to find a photo of the church (St. Mary’s, I believe) on the internet. I finally found what I think is the church on a site about pubs in Worcestershire, but the photo has no caption and is confusing. I have also seen the St. Mary’s website, but they have no photo other than their background art. I would like to find a site similar to yours from someone who lives at Oldswinford. That would be cool. By the way, your site is very enjoyable and you are an amazing young man with many varied interests. All the best to you in your schooling and in sharing your interesting hobbies on the internet.

Hi Jonathan!
I still find your homepages impressive. I’m currently working on homepages of my own. I hope you’ll never ever visit them when they’re published since they’ll be somewhat crappy I’m afraid. I’m not a computer wizard - yet.
I’ll mail to you soon! (That’s a promise.)

I like the page on the apostrophe. It is good to see that someone out there is taking a genuine moral stance on this highly important matter.

I wanted to find out more about the Gregorian Calendar and asked the search engine LYCOS for the info., and they directed me to you.
I am interested in Family History and have traced one of my ancestors Richard Baxter back to north Bedfordshire. He was living when England adopted the Gregorian calendar and I thought it would make a good start to write about the family. I am also interested in the Puritan writer and clergyman Richard Baxter who was the vicar of Kidderminster around the time of Oliver Cromwell.
I thought your Web pages were really good. Being a mature student I was greatly impressed. I know hos to surf the internet and eventually hope to progress to the point of making my own Web page displaying my Family Tree. But that is still in the future.
Best wishes
Norma
