Thistle Chapel

This chapel at the High Kirk of Edinburgh, also known as St Giles Cathedral, is the chapel of the Order of the Thistle, the most important order of chivalry in Scotland. The order has 16 knights or ladies as members at any one time, in addition to members of the royal family. Each has a helm and crest displayed in the chapel.
