Yuyuan Bazaar

The Yuyuan Bazaar sells local delicacies, produce and handicrafts. The Baraar surrounds the Yuyuan garden, parts of which date from the 16th century. The area was a Chinese enclave in the times that Shanghai was divided into foreign concessions. Today foreign tourists can make themselves feel at home in the Bazaar's branch of Starbucks.
