Coal hoppers on the North Queensferry viaduct section of the Forth Bridge.
In 2008 the Stirling-Alloa-Kincardine railway reopened after 40 years, providing an alternative route for freight, avoiding the bridge. Therefore it will no longer be common to see hoppers cross the bridge as in this photo.
