Elements (version 2)

Elements is a complete guide to the chemical elements and the periodic table for RISC-OS computers. Features of version 2 include:

• Data for every element, from Hydrogen to Ununbium
• A clickable periodic table allowing quick access to any element
• The periodic table can be coloured to show information such as groups, physical state at a particular temperature, or radioactivity
• A molecular mass calculator - just enter a chemical formula, and the mass is calculated for you!
• Textual information about many of the elements covering a wide range of topics such as allotropes of carbon, isotopes, preparation of gases, alloys, and uses of the elements.
• The Elements quiz to test your knowledge of chemical symbols and atomic numbers

Improvements since version 1 include:

• Electronic configuration added to data window
• A wider choice of units
• Greater selection of text files, which are now in HTML format and include more illustrations
• Inclusion of the latest elements >109, and updated names for newer elements
• Re-drawn high-resolution graphics
• Windows re-designed to display correctly on RISC OS 3.5 +
